Thoughtless Awareness

How do we get the thing that we all are missing, most deeply long for, cannot grasp, nor see? The music of inner stillness that we cannot hear until we truly stop to listen. How do we shift our awareness from the outer drama, to inner Bliss?

I found an interesting blog for yoga and the bipolar condition. I'm not sure how other people deal with the challenge of intimacy and mental health. I find yoga to be a great remedy for some of the interpersonal challenges I have that go along with hypermania or bipolar. Alot of times the things we want, relationships, good jobs, the outter drama, destroy the inner bliss. Yoga, for me, is a nice harmony between the two. It offers an outward "social group" with the potential for love, networking, etc. while it's true focus is on spiritual ascencion. If we don't find intimate relationships or a good job, how can we go on being happy or blissful? Yoga gives me a choice. One of my goals is to get certified teaching yoga. I am really interested to find out what other people are doing with yoga and the mental health community and also in terms of men's issues. It always seems like women are constantly striving for better intimacy, but I'm not sure if the men are meeting them half way.

The blog for Yoga and bipolar is at www.yogaforbipolar.com
